Proactive Monitoring
One of the most valuable components of the Total Care subscription is Proactive Monitoring. Our software will continually monitor your computer 24x7 to ensure your computer is running as it should be. No more surprise breakdowns or failures! In the event that a problem is detected, one of our trained and certified technicians will call and/or e-mail you about the problem so that it may be resolved before it turns into a bigger issue and causes more problems, damage to your computer, productivity loss, headaches, and additional cost. Here is a list of some of the items that are monitored for and reported to you by our trained and certified technicians:
- Higher than normal and unacceptable CPU utilization.
CPU over utilization is one of the main reasons a computer will run slow. - Little to no free RAM (random-access memory).
Not having a sufficient amount of RAM to support the applications you are trying to run is the primary reason a computer will run slow. When a computer runs out of physical RAM, it will use what's known as 'virtual memory'. Virtual memory is created using free space on your hard disk drive. Today's hard disk drives are 7.69 million times slower than RAM. In theory this means your computer will run 7.69 million times slower when you run out of physical RAM and start using virtual memory. You could also experience error messages and program crashes. - Little to no free Hard Disk Drive storage space.

- Periodic Installation of all Critical and Recommended Microsoft Updates
So that your computer is fully secure and up-to-date, we'll make sure you have all your updates from Microsoft. Some patches from Microsoft close exploits hackers could use to get into your system and other patches fix programming errors found in Microsoft software. - Regular AntiVirus / Internet Security Updates, Full System Scans, and Disinfection
If you've also signed up for our Anti-Virus or Internet Security software subscription, we will periodically do a manual definition update and full system scan to make sure nothing got past the antivirus / internet security software and is lingering in your system. If anything is found, a full disinfection or removal of the infected file(s) will be preformed. - Hard Disk Defragmentation
